Who doesn’t love Boxing Day.. All the hard work has been done; the ‘fridge is stuffed full of delicious leftovers; the children have loads of new toys to play with and with any luck your office has closed down for the week, or you’re allowed to work from home until New Year.
It’s also the perfect time to start thinking about how you’re going to have the healthiest year ever in 2019. Which is why I am using today to announce my Free 7 Day Sugar Free Challenge– starting on the 7thJan 2019.
I’m not a fan of draconian New Years’ Resolutions. There’s a reason why over 80% of them are broken by January 4th! We’re all exhausted by Xmas, it’s cold and dark, and right now we need nourishment and encouragement, rather than punishment and hunger. Which is why my 7 day Sugar-Free Challengeis the perfect way to get you started in 2019. You’ll be joined by a community of like-minded folk who all want an easy way to get back into their health routine, or have decided that this is the year that they are going to make health their priority for the first time.
Going sugar-free isn’t always easy; but I’m going to be there to support you every day on Facebook. We’ll talk about why sugar is the number 1 cause of obesity, diabetes and cancer. We’ll discuss all the foods and drinks where sugar crops up unexpectedly and easy substitutions. We’ll share our hardest sugar challenges and how we’re going to change our habits without feeling hungry or deprived.
Are you starting your day with sugary coffee, toast and jam?
Can’t get through the mid-morning coffee break without a couple of biscuits?
Grabbing a chocolate bar to get you through the mid-afternoon slump or the journey home from work?
You’re not alone!
I know giving up sugar is hard. But you’ll get all the support you need – and what a great achievement to start 2019, right?
